I couldn’t use iTunes 8.0?
I just downloaded iTunes 8.0 and I’m using windows vista, 32-bit. I couldn’t open my iTunes, whenever I try to open, there’s a pop-up saying ” You must restart your system for the configuration changes made to iTunes to take effect. Click Yes to restart now or No if you plan to manually restart later.” I tried restarting, but after the restart, I tried to open iTunes, the same thing happened. I tried re-installing iTunes 8.0, same thing happens. Now I’m unable to use my iPod, as it requires iTunes 8.0. Please help me.
You are probably starting iTunes via a shortcut that’s taking you to your iTunes installation program. Try going into your Program Files/iTunes folder and start the program by clicking on the iTunes.exe file. This should do it. If this works, simply drag the icon to your desktop or Quick Launch bar to start in the future.
