Iphone: listen to music and wi-fi?
Hi everyone! I'm new to all this "iPhone" stuff. I recently purchased an iPhone from 8 GB (3G) wireless support asked me these questions, but never really gave me an answer (and seemed to not really get what you ask) and so I thought I would ask you guys! If I connect my iPhone to my computer and transfer my songs from my iTunes to listen and to turn off the phone, it cost me time data? Or do like my phone the new iPod and I can hear one away? I asked and said that playing with them was based on data, but I I do not think she understood what I was asking! Also, if I'm connected to Wi-Fi can download stuff and watch the news and do not feel like my data plan? Also, if I Wi-Fi you can use the gps / map thing? (I'm only allowed 500 MB per month and I do not want to go about it!) Also any other tips / tricks for the iphone I would greatly appreciate that I know the basics, but no fancy stuff! THANKS!
When using wifi, which avoid the use of your data plan. Just make sure that you're actually using wifi. You can use all the features of the Internet with WiFi. To listen to songs through the iPod function does not use any data. You could put the phone in Airplane mode and use the iPod (airplane mode does not allow any data transfer at all). You may find it useful to download IPhone User Guide. It is a pdf document in iTunes. It is useful to have on hand. Also, if you have questions or problems, it is best to visit an AT & T store or Apple. Technicians in the shops are great – the people on the phone seems to be very poorly trained.
