How do I get iTunes as the default player for music?

I always had my iTunes as default player for music. So far, what it is. My friend sent me a song, and this What emerged says I have to change something about configuring Windows Media Player. What's happening?

Sounds like your file associations audio files are changed back to Media Player. Got Vista? If so, can enter the control panel, and there is an application (called autoplay i believe) you can set your AutoPlay options.
