itunes backup files vista
Can anyone give us a hand with getting music on iTunes outside the backup CD? Cheers?
Backup all my music on 11 CD's from iTunes in Windows XP. Installed Vista / iTunes, and 8 of the 11 discs restored well. But the other three have problems, get two in the middle of restoration process, and then eject the disk because there is a mistake, and one brings an error "unknown (-69)." Now I have some of the disk files by other means, but some do not copy everything, including dicrete I created a folder outside iTunes, despite playing normally in the likes of Windows Media Player. Someone suggested it was a mistake with the original of the record, but can not be if they are playing well. Has anyone else had this get well? Best if someone We can help here. Sam The Bam
This smacks of a corrupt burn me too. Are you sure until the final play * * Windows Media Player, with * no * technical problems? Sorry, but I fear that some data may be unrecoverable. Here's a tip, to create backup discs, always using the latest record slow burn settings possible. Use 1x if possible. The faster you burn something, the greater the chance that the burn is glitchy. I do not care if 11 CD burning at 1x takes a few days. Worthwhile, especially when you restore it without errors.
