How I can start to be a DJ?
I have 15 years and has little money to buy the equipment. I use a MacBook Pro with the software that let me Djay material mix and burn iTunes. I do not want to buy stylish mixers or anything. If you use this software at my school dance, how I can get the speakers to connect to my laptop? I'll probably be able to borrow my amps and speakers the school band, but how does it work? USB Cable? And Also, how I can connect to speakers and headphones to listen on the socket? Thanks!
This is an interesting question. First you can not connect speakers dj / band to your laptop and have the sound any louder and your laptop could be unless you are using speakers that have amplifiers built into them. Most bands do not use speakers although you need an amplifier designed to amplify the sound coming in and sent to a Speaker (s). I have never tried that although in theory you could use an adapter to go from your laptop to a dual headphone jack and connect RCA your amplifier. I do not recommend trying this, however as the risk of damaging the sound card. Plus it would be very difficult to control the volume without a mixer. As for plugging headphones into the speakers do not want to do this if you plan on having a hearing on the left after the dance. If you connect headphones directly into a speaker that has the same input volume on the headphones as coming from the speakers. To ensure that need a mixer.
