iTunes

ITunes deleted all after the upgrade, how can I recover it?

I recently upgraded my iTunes and deleted all my music, videos, playlists, etc.. Now when I plug my iPod in it says it needs to synchronize with this new library * * and delete everything in my iPod. How can I get my stuff from my iPod back to iTunes? Any help is appreciated!
