itunes high quality audio
FLAC to high quality Apple Lossless files?
I resently downloaded som flac audio files on my windows machine. I kinow iTunes does not support these file formats so does anyone know of a program that convertes flac to Apple Lossless file format
dBpoweramp can convert FLAC to Apple Lossless. It needs a plug-in, so it’s not quite straight forward though.
Here’s how to do it:
1. Download dBpoweramp Music Converter from this page:
http://www.dbpoweramp.com/download.htm
2. Click the “Add Additional Codecs (WMA, m4a)” link on the same page.
3. Click the “m4a & mp4 & Apple Lossless” link.
4. Download the “m4a Release 8″ package.
5. Install both packages, the main program and the plug-in.
6. Start dBPoweramp Music Converter and select your FLAC files.
7. On the next screen, select Apple Lossless as your output format and click the Convert button.
