iTunes error logging settings in Windows 7.?
When I start iTunes, I get an error that says "The registry settings used by iTunes drivers for importing and burning CDs and DVDs are missing. This may occur as a result of installing other CD burning software. Please reinstall iTunes. "After searching Google, it seems that this is a very common problem. However, none of the solutions seem to work for others have been working for me. I uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes, I downloaded the driver updates gearsoftware.com gear, and I made the changes suggested my record (GEARAspiWDM in the top filter), all without effect. iTunes works great, I can record and import CDs, but I'm still getting this error every time I load. Can anyone offer a solution?
or run System Restore to an earlier date / time or uninstall the CD recording software otherwise it is in conflict with iTunes. If the CD burning software other drivers have been abducted in the registry, try the solution mentioned in the following link http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314060
