How do I keep my Itouch apps/data with a fresh itunes install?
My hard-drive smoked checked itself literally..(it smoked)..now with new hard-drive and fresh itunes install it was to sync my itouch and erase everything. how do I prevent this.
I’m not sure exactly what you mean, but open iTunes while your iPod is plugged in and click on your iPod under the Devices tab on the left side of the screen. You should get a screen with a picture of your type of iPod. On the top of that screen, there are multiple tabs. Click the Music, Apps, Video/Movies, and/or podcasts tabs and click the box that says something saying to not sync them.
