McAfee wont let me download music from itunes anymore?help!?
i have just updated my McAfee Security Center and i can no longer download music from itunes(which i could do before i updated mcafee).Itunes comes up with an error saying ” Cannot download. Network timed out. Err= -3259″. I have tried everything, i even uninstalled it and reinstalled it. When mcafee was uninstalled i managed to download my purchased song and then when i reinstalled it again i could no longer download them again. i have been in touch with mcafee but everything they told me to try did not work. Please can anyone help?
your best bet is to disable it while you download songs. its not the safest thing, but it might be the only way. i know with most other anti-virus software you can choose a list of exceptions – a list of programs that wont be blocked. but i am not sure if you can do that with mcafee. if i were you though, i would get a new anti-virus software altogether. mcafee is not really that great anyways. get nortons and download ad-aware for that extra layer of security. good luck!
