itunes not recognizing iphone windows vista
My custom iPhone Sync …?

I have an iPhone 3G. The software is updated. I have a Vaio computer with Vista with iTunes and the software also is current. I have had this phone for a year without synchronization problems with it before. The last time synchronization was less than two weeks. Every time I plug my iPhone in a small bubble in the bottom of my screen appears with "USB Device Not Recognized." I tired a different cables and ports and it's not the same. Once in iTunes, it starts to sync and then come to one of these messages: "iPhone could sync timeout" (where in fact it was maybe five minutes), "Unable to synchronize the device, the drive is not recognized" or "error, unknown subject." Anybody have any idea why not sync? My best guess would be some sort of update to Windows Vista that is causing this. Maybe a driver?

Hm, that's weird. If I were you, I would go to your phone company and ask them about it.
