itunes organize library consolidate files
The best way to organize your iTunes library?
I have 100 GB of TV programs, movies 200 GB and 80 GB of music. All this is stored on my desk in the iTunes folder that iTunes lets me organize. I want to be able to sync to iTunes on the laptop with my desktop, but do not want to synchronize in all the films and television series. I also like to move media files on my desktop internal drive on an external drive (and still be able to synchronize) Is there any way for iTunes to consolidate different places depending on the type (ie, consolidate movies on external hard drive, music the indoor unit?) Any better program out there to sync the laptop to the desktop, plus Microsoft SyncToy? Thanks
The iTunes library only allows the location at a time. The Advanced tab in preferences shows the location of the folder you have chosen. C: Users The Pike Family Music iTunes iTunes Music I like to keep it simple: Open iTunes File> Library> Library Organize> Upgrade to iTunes Media Organization or File> Library> Plan Library> Consolidate files, but before doing so. If you want to have all your movies on another drive, go ahead and do that. Then add the files to the library: Ctrl + o Your second question on the laptop screen is sync'ing in the wrong category I'm afraid I can not help with that.
