Copy music files from multiple folders into one?
I used the software downloaded to pull all my music on my iPod and back to my team as the system has crashed and I lost my iTunes library. I've tried downloading iTunes again to restore, but that does not even work. Now I have literally hundreds folder with a few songs on each that I want to be able to reduce to a single folder with all my songs on it. This is the hope that I can reinstall my iTunes library without having to open hundreds of files separately. Can someone help? I tried a search function, but only seem to find a few hundred songs, or is everything! I'm dreading having to sift through thousands of files manually by dragging and dropping ….
Click Start – make click My Computer, right-click the hard drive where your music is – click search. Search the file extension of the iPod (.???). when performing the search, select the file above, scroll to the bottom of the list and click on the file while holding down the shift button, right click on the highlighted files and select copy. Open the new folder and click Paste. Now the files in both places, in case you have problems with them all being in one folder.
