This machine is obtained as a gift for replacing Compaq laptop for 3 years. Until now consider the configuration of this laptop. LOVE this little machine
I had a bit of Acer 10.1 "netbook for about 6 months. Favourite portability and long battery life, but the small screen and keyboard were killing me, so I sold it. After doing a lot of research, I decided on this as a replacement. This little beauty is sweet. The keyboard is flexible and sensitive, it looks so sleek silver exterior with brushed photos are amazing on your screen, and is still small and light to fall into a backpack. I considered buying an external DVD, but instead, I just shared the DVD tray on my desktop computer and necessary software loaded (Office 2007 Pro and how Photoshop Elements 7). Save $ $ few EDVD not buy that.
I was a little worried about the touch pad uber-bright and slippery but I had no problem with it. I took the advice of someone who has released a patch and used the little button above the touchpad to deactivate before putting the computer to sleep and I have not experienced any of blockage highlight some other tests. As others have said, is a fingerprint magnet, but hey … is a touch pad.
The left side of the palm rest is a bit warmer than the right, but not uncomfortable.

Sweet Little Laptop
Pros:
I was looking at netbooks, but I found them too small. This is a perfect size for the coffee table and is very good with the brushed aluminum. I have a really nice screen and a large keyboard with play / pause / volume buttons that you need for music playback on the top row. HDMI output and four USB ports are a plus too.
Cons:
I've had no problem with plastic trim to collapse, as one reviewer did. The only design flaw I see are the pieces rubber to prevent touching the screen bezel cover the keyboard when the lid is closed is a little too small or shallow, so get some screen cover very minor scratches. I think this can be minimized by not putting anything too heavy on top of the computer when it is closed, and not to squeeze too tight in the exercise thereof. But that's a minor problem. In addition, the team is getting a bit hot (especially under the palm of his left hand, probably when the CPU is), perhaps too hot for extended use on the legs, but it is super quiet – compensation that can live with it.
Bottom Line:
This is a small great laptop for the money. I recommend it.

I bought my dm3 w / AMD few weeks ago. I was in the market for a MacBook Pro, but when it comes time to send my order in the area of Apple Checkout, I decided to investigate a little more. I could not fathom paying almost twice that of dm3 a 13 "MacBook Pro

I have been running routinely YouTube, Microsoft Word, iTunes and Norton Security Suite running a virus scan in the background and did not experience significant delays in performance.
I recommend this computer if you are looking for something portable, stylish and functional. It is all these things and more. Shop around and enjoy it.
