Can you put downloaded songs from napster or myrhapsody on to an ipod?

I’m getting sick of paying 99 cents per song through itunes when I could be using a site such as napster or myrhapsody with a subscription plan. I don’t want to get a new mp3 player and I have an ipod right now. Is it possible to download songs off of these sites with subscriptions and put them on itunes to put on an ipod? thanks

The answers above will not work. In order to continue playing your subscription songs the license must be updated on an ongoing basis or you won’t be able to play it.

If you convert it to an Ipod file the license will not update, therefore rendering the file useless. I agree with you on the Subscription thing however. I have been using the Sub method for almost 2 years and currently have over 15,000 songs by over 600 artists. Plus you can choose tostore the music on their servers instead of on your HD therefore freeing up HD space.
