How do you get pictures to appear on the albums on iTunes and iPod?
I have lots of folders album with a jpg of the album cover in them, but they do not show in itunes or my ipod when syncing the same album. Emerges as a white image with the same musical note. How can add album covers to the albums from iTunes?
What will have to do is add the images to the music files and set the option of having your iPod display the album cover. Here's how … First you need to add the covers to the music files. iTunes can do much of this work for you – just go to "Store" menu in iTunes and select "Get Album Artwork." This will cause iTunes to add illustrated many of the albums in your library that can identify and has artwork without additional work for you. If this fails you can add yourself. This is easier to do on the album level (so you do not have to do for each and every song). It seems that iTunes is likely to have shown in section correct view to do this now – you want the grid view which displays all the album covers. Right-click one of the albums, and select "Get Info" from the menu. Then in the window that appears, click the "Art" tab. Then click the button "Add" and browse to the location where you have the jpg file and add it. If the files are jpg to high quality (and hence to large of a file) will not add. In that case, either would have to somehow reduce the resolution (and therefore file size) JPG files or receive them from a different source. What usually do is find on the Internet (Amazon.com is a good source) and just copy and paste into the card box illustrations. If you are just copying the image to the box, just make right click and select Paste to paste the image. Once the artwork showing in iTunes connect your iPod. Once your iPod is shown in the list on the left, click it and the screen where you can change the settings of your iPod display. You have to check the box something like: "Show the illustration the album in "iPod is either in the" Summary "or" Music "tab.
