Why is the new version of iTunes will not work on Windows Vista?
When recently came out with version 7, I have updated to it and not has worked ever since. Every time I click the icon to run the program a window pops up that says "iTunes has stopped working, Windows is checking a solution to the problem. "I've done everything, uninstalled and reinstalled.'s been over 2 months and I'm going crazy without my music. Is there an alternative solution this situation or have to spend 2 hours on hold with customer service?
I first download the latest version of iTunes from the Apple website. Choose Windows Vista operating system. Installing iTunes using this latest salvo. Apple makes changes to iTunes all the time and the new version may solve your problem. If this work doenslt, try apple.com support page has a lot of informaiton on iTunes to get to work in Vista, such as downloadind an update of iTunes, and the Opening the firewall in Vista for iTunes. http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/
