itunes in wine
I have a few programs installed on Ubuntu through Wine, and need to remove them, How do I do this?

Wine seems to be as unreliable as actually using Windows. I tried Applications>Wine>Remove Wine Software and went through the uninstaller dialogs, but a few things remain. I need to get rid of iTunes and a few other things so that I can install an older version of the same stuff that I know works.

ive had the same problem, if you want something specifically to run windows apps, look up reactos, its still in the beta (aka when microsoft releases a new version of windows) but it looks like its gonna be good. of course keep in mind that wine isnt even version 1.0 yet give it a while and itll be everything that its envisioned to be

ps
reactos is like windows nt built from scratch to be more efficeint and stable, its not windows but its built similarly enough to run windows apps

Vh1 Presents the Corrs Live in Dublin

$4.36

It’s fitting that video channel VH1 is partnered with the obscenely attractive sibs of the Corrs for this live recording, captured in Dublin, near the band’s hometown in Ireland. Given the stiff competition in the pop arena and the Corrs’ rather limited touring, looks have doubtless played a part in their global ascent, although, judging by Live in Dublin, they’ve earned some props along the way. …

The Basketball Diaries: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

Jim Carroll’s harrowing saga of growing up troubled in New York City makes for a solid film with an excellent soundtrack to match. Cuts by a Vedder-less Pearl Jam (joining Carroll to rerecord his 1980 fav “Catholic Boy”) and Soundgarden (offering the gloomy “Blind Dogs”) merit the hype. P. J. Harvey gets extra mileage out of the brilliant “Down by the Water,” Green Apple Quick Step’s “Dizzy” is a …
