Is there a software based way to get iTunes to play stereo and mono on a Windows based computer?
My boyfriend is deaf in one ear and things like the Beatles or Korn played horribly in the headphones. We now have iPods and iTunes on your computer at work, but we can not find a way to make the team do the job of remixing of the signals. Just double click the speaker icon in the system tray to open volume control and move the balance toward the side of the speaker have to work at not working. Just have a speaker louder than the other. We need some way to remix their music without having to import everything as mono. This method seems he would also have to re-import as stereo if listening to the iPod in the car.
Hi Dragon, I personally do not know any software that does that, but here is an ancient way of doing this: have an analog mixer. The trick is to connect a stereo headphone cable hole team and connect the two cables in the mixer as separate tracks, then "pan", both tracks on the same side.
