how to sync itunes between computers

Syncronization between iPod and iTunes or 3rd party program?
So far, I hate iTunes to the max. As I’ve found out from reading posts and from experience, if you load your music on to your iPod, then delete from your PC hard drive (why do I need the song in two locales?), then the next time it syncs, the music is deleted from my iPod. I ahve heard everything from turning off the autosync and going with manual to using programs like Anapod Explorer and the like. What should I do if I want to be able to transfer music from my computer to my iPod and then delete said music from my PC without losing the info on my computer. I know it is possible, I just need to know how to do it…Thanks in advance.
Managing your music manually, allows you to do what you want without any problems. But if you have a problem with your iPod and need to restore it at any time your music will have to be found/downloaded all over again that is why it is prudent to retain your music in the iTunes library
