update itunes library windows
My entire iTunes music library was gone when I returned from school.?
The other night, i was updating iTunes, and when I opened it after it (the updating) was done, all my music was gone. But I realized that all my music was still there, just in a different folder. So i closed iTunes and moved the XML and data files over, as well as all of my music (around 11 gigs) to the new folder. I opened up iTunes and it was all there. Then when i got home later the next day, all my music was gone. It is no where on any of my harddrives. What is ironic is that i just made a backup last night, but i ran out of space before it got my music.
I know that there is no way for me to get it back…
but does anyone know what exactly happened?

Windows Vista Ultimate (64 bit)
running iTunes 7.1.1.5
this sucks.
It is for this very reason that I still buy Cd’s. lol
