Although I will not dive too much into an explanation of dub, let me start with a simple definition. For dub, I mean the unique style of remixing Jamaican music in which the voice out are removed, the healthy steps reverb and delay (echo) apply to the battery (especially the hi-hats and snares) and rhythm and lead instruments, random sound effects are introduced, and overall the song is made to sound like an outer space and high-grade Guinness influenced psychedelic interpretation where someone accidentally turned the low to +10.
As an aside, Trinis Eastern Caribbean people use the term to refer back to what we Jamaican dancehall call … not sure how they were mixed.

The Seducer Dub Wise (Hit Bound) 1982
What can you say about this record is not communicated by the album cover? To production of channels with special dub engineer Scientist (Hopeton Brown) extra-heavy reworking some tracks Roots Radics. From the UK comes super-reggae group Aswad foray into dub-a new chapter is actually Dub dub versions of most of his 1981 CBS album by New Chapter (clever eh?).
