Share music collection between iTunes and Windows Media Player?
We have an MP3 collection on a NAS. Currently we have two computers Vista laptops to access this collection. We're getting an Apple laptop as well. If we allow iTunes to access the collection and use of the library NAS, since the library will play nicely with Windows Media Player? I worry that iTunes does not understand the labels or change them in any way that Windows Media Player does not understand.
I've heard some things about this, and does not sound right. from i-tunes music is in MP4? and WMP is WMA format does not recognize all the music bought from i-tunes. Now there is a fee you can afford all the transfer i-tunes music to another format, but then i-Tunes soils. There are third party softwares to do if for you for free, but then you are probably going to have every song on your computer (an MP4 and WMA) just Yahoo or Google search MP4 to WMA or MP3 (mp3 is known for i-tunes and WMP and 99.99% of all digital media players out there-ipod-zune-sony-etc …)
